Book Talking Presentation

I sent an email to the LM_Net community today with a PowerPoint presentation of book titles attached. I didn’t realize that attachments are not allowed – what a rookie move! I have also been wanting to start a library-related blog for quite some time. So, I figured why not start that blog today? I received over 40 emails from my fellow LM_Netters this afternoon requesting the presentation, so here it is. Again, please feel free to use or modify it for your own use. I welcome any comments or suggestions on the format. I considered including annotations but added NYS Learning Standards instead. Enjoy!

I deleted several comments by viewers accidentally because I was trying to make a correction to one of the slides in the PowerPoint. Sorry! I really appreciated all of your encouragement!

very, very nicely done! and useful! Thanks so much. Since I came to school librarianship the wrong way round (MLS, then career-switcher-quickie teacher certificate and endorsement), I am constantly building my OWN background knowledge on the teaching side of things. Something clicked for me in the first few slides – talking about inference, etc. I REALLY appreciate this!
